It is important that key skills coordinators and managers keep up to date with information relating to inspection.

Following the The Education and Inspections Act, the new Ofsted has been derived. The new Ofsted came into being in April 2007, and brings together all of the work of the former four seperate inspectorates. Ofsted inpsects and regulates care for learners of all ages. Details of inspection processes, forms, guidance and reports can be obtained from www.ofsted.gov
