Skills at Key Stage 4Publication
Skills are a central focus of curriculum training reform at Key Stages 3 and 4. This guide is designed primarily for subject leaders and teachers working with the 14 - 16 age group in schools who are, or will be responsible for planning and delivering the Key Stage 4 curriculum in the next few years. The guide provides an introduction to the 'skills agenda', including descriptions of initiatives that can support skills development at Key Stage 4, and case studies of schools that have successfully engaged with the 'skills agenda'.

Getting ahead with personal, learning and thinking skills - lessons from the wider key skills Publication
TThis booklet is written to support curriculum managers and teachers who are responsible for planning and delivering PLTS to learners at Key Stage 4. It will be relevant both to practitioners who are already familiar with the wider key skills and to those who are new to the field. The guide shows how the six groups of personal, learning and thinking skills (PLTS) relate to the wider key skills. It also explains how experience of teaching the wider key skills can help practitioners to effectively support learners working on PLTS.
